Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Schenectady, NY.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. As a travel nurse with Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and gain valuable experience in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
