Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Clovis Municipal Schools. The successful candidate will provide physical therapy services to special education students, promoting their physical development and preventing increased disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized physical therapy plans for students with disabilities
  • Provide direct therapy, monitoring, and consultation services to students and educators
  • Collaborate with the IEP team to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and community members
  • Document assessment and intervention results, and relate them to educational goals
Requirements
  • Must be licensed by the New Mexico Physical Therapist Regulation and Licensing Board and the State Department of Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university program in physical therapy is required for licensing
  • Must obtain a minimum of 2.0 CEU/s (20 Hours) per year for licensure requirements
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic school setting, interacting with students, educators, and parents. The position requires flexibility, patience, and self-motivation. The candidate must be able to work under stressful conditions and be mindful of child safety during class changes.
