About the Job

As a Contract Driver with ECG Freight LLC, you have the flexibility to choose between a W2 or 1099 employment arrangement. The W2 option offers a 401(k) plan, while the 1099 arrangement provides more control over your finances. Both options come with the benefit of being off on weekends and federal holidays.

Job Summary

  • $1,100 - $1,600 gross total weekly average pay
  • 25% of load revenue
  • 1,000 - 1,500 average miles per week
  • Dedicated routes
  • Day shift
  • No Driver Load/Unload
  • 50% tarping
  • No slip seating
Home Time
  • 5 days on, 2 days off
  • Home every weekend
Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure safety, legality, and security.
  • Submit customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Maintain a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Engage in daily customer interactions and maintain positive relationships.
  • Be available for work at all times to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
Orientation Details
  • Orientation is not compensated.
  • Accommodation is not covered.
  • Drivers are provided with their own room.
  • No meals are included.
  • Travel expenses are not covered.
Hiring Requirements
  • Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, or (K) Intrastate Only
  • At least 2 years of experience with tractor-trailer driving
