This position will manage a substantial inventory of critical supplies and finished goods, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with the company’s performance metrics while providing essential support to all departments through effective data management and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the acquisition and monitoring of essential supplies and finished products.
- Collaborate with suppliers to verify adherence to delivery timelines and uphold performance standards.
- Support negotiation efforts and discount initiatives to secure favorable pricing and terms for our clientele, while maintaining updated contract and discount records.
- Oversee the processing of manufacturing warranty claims to guarantee timely and accurate reimbursements.
- Enhance and maintain the efficiency of Excel-based templates utilized for Sales and Purchasing operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to aid Sales Management in assessing performance and pinpointing areas for enhancement.
Required Skills:
- Facilitate effective communication among Vendors, Operations, Sales, and Design teams by sharing critical sales and purchase order information.
- Engage in cross-departmental meetings to synchronize purchasing strategies with sales objectives and operational capabilities.
- Provide backup support for key team members as needed.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Exhibit self-motivation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Job Type: This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.
Work Environment: This role requires full on-site presence, with core working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, offering flexibility in lunch hours. The team consists of approximately 15-18 members, including the Purchasing Manager and this assistant role.
