Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team at the University of Arkansas. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing fixtures in campus buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in campus buildings
  • Respond to after-hours and on-call emergencies
  • Ensure regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance
  • Maintain collegial and harmonious working relationships with colleagues
Requirements
  • Arkansas Journeyman Plumber license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least five years of experience in the plumbing trade
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least eight years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber
  • Master Plumber license
  • Backflow Preventer License
What We Offer

The University of Arkansas offers a competitive salary range of $45,500 - $48,000, commensurate with licensure and years of experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and life insurance, tuition waivers, and a choice of retirement programs.
