Job Title: Occupational Therapist - School Setting

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a School Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Occupational Therapy Services: You will provide expert occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs and abilities, conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: You will collaborate with caring educators, supportive parents, and a collaborative team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize Innovative Therapy Techniques: You will utilize innovative and engaging therapy techniques to foster student progress and confidence, empowering students to improve their functional skills, achieve greater independence, and succeed academically.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: You must have a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • New York State Licensure: You must have New York state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
