Mental Health Liaison Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Liaison Specialist to join our team at People Encouraging People. As a key member of our community support services, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport clients to appointments and activities as necessary.
- Prepare daily contact notes and monthly progress reports for each client.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and mental health professionals, client's family, therapist, community agencies, care providers, and others involved in the process of problem resolution and on-going case management.
- Participate in weekly Peer Group meeting, as needed with clients to assess client's activities and goal attainment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mental health field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with at least 1-year experience in the mental health field preferred.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to deal with crisis situations.
- Fluency in American Sign Language.
Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year (dependent on experience)
