Maintenance Technician II Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at TRC Talent Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment in our manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner to ensure compliance with plant safety and environmental requirements.
  • Notify supervisors of any irregularities in operating equipment or materials, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Coordinate and carry out various operations to perform maintenance tasks, including planning, layout, and construction of workstations and equipment.
  • Read and interpret prints, diagrams, drawings, and schematics to fabricate tools, fixtures, and workstation equipment, and troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts, powered manlifts, and overhead cranes.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of maintenance work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to participate in plant safety initiatives.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to work on a night shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Machine shop work experience highly desirable.
  • Forklift certification from a previous employer or state agency.
