Water Treatment Plant Designer

Job Summary

Selectek is seeking a Water Treatment Plant Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-10+ years of experience in civil or environmental engineering and be licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or eligible to sit for the exam.

Key Responsibilities

The Water Treatment Plant Designer will be responsible for designing and overseeing water/wastewater projects, preparing technical specifications, and managing project budgets and schedules. Key qualifications include:

• Strong background in utilities and treatment plant design
• Proficiency in WaterCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of municipal and applicable local, state, and federal agency regulations
• Familiarity with agency procedures and regulations for municipal water and wastewater systems

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with experience in the design of water distribution or sewerage collection systems, water/wastewater treatment plants, strong interpersonal communication skills, and enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
