About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapy Technologist to join our team at Aldevra. As a Radiation Therapy Technologist, you will play a critical role in administering therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation to patients undergoing radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient treatment plans and treatment machine parameters prior to each treatment session
  • Perform quality assurance tests on treatment units and simulators
  • Position patients accurately on the treatment table according to established protocols
  • Obtain electronic portal images during treatment sessions
  • Recognize and respond to emergency patient conditions
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of patient treatments
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist
  • Successful completion of a program in therapeutic radiologic technology
  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Knowledge of therapeutic radiologic treatments, simulation, and medical dosimetry
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, with occasional bending and lifting
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
