Job Overview
">The Direct Support Manager position at Agentic Client Support Services LLC is a pivotal role that ensures the seamless operation of assigned locations. This critical position involves providing direct care to clients, scheduling, training, and supervising staff who deliver similar services. As a key figure, you will oversee planning and participation in social events and activities, guaranteeing individuals receive care during medical appointments. Additionally, you will be responsible for site cleanliness and grocery shopping for household supplies.
">Essential Responsibilities

- Supervise Lead and Direct Support Professionals, including coaching, development, and performance management, to ensure quality client care aligns with policies, laws, and regulations.">
- Ensure employee schedules are planned in Brittco at least two weeks in advance, with authority to approve or deny shift changes or swaps.">
- Support the recruiting and onboarding process of new team members.">
- Attend all client meetings.">
- Maintain individual rights and confidentiality while promoting positive teamwork and ensuring completion of staff training in Brittco, including required training upon hire and annual training.">
- Implement organizational policies and procedures, as well as Clients Individual Service and Behavior Support Plans.">
- Collaborate with Direct Support Professionals to strengthen daily living needs, including nutrition, hygiene, exercise, communication, and socialization skills.">
- Guarantee Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with bathing, grooming, dressing, participating in family-style dining, and other daily living skills, aiming to improve self-reliance.">
- Ensure Direct Support Professionals maintain a clean, neat, and safe home environment.">

- Key Competencies">

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and agency staff.">
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team of support staff, ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.">
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining accurate records.">
- Demonstrated understanding of unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities, with ability to quickly identify and address problems, working collaboratively with support staff and agency staff to find practical solutions.">
- Genuine interest in well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities and ability to provide emotional support and comfort when needed.">
- Cultural competency and awareness to provide support to individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.">
- Thorough knowledge of rules and policies governing service provision to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring adherence to regulations and guidelines.">
- Education and Experience">

- Minimum high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.">
- Minimum one year of Developmental Disabilities experience preferred.">
- Minimum six months of Developmental Disabilities supervisory or operations experience; one year preferred.">
- Salary and Benefits">
We offer an estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location, along with a range of benefits including flexible scheduling, paid time off, and training & development opportunities.
