The Landings Club, Inc. is a premier private golf and country club community located on Skidaway Island, near Savannah, Georgia.

We offer a range of amenities and services designed to provide our members with an exceptional golfing experience, including six championship golf courses, two marinas, 31 tennis courts, 15 pickleball courts, eight bocce courts, eight unique dining venues, five clubhouses, five swimming pools and a 52,000 sq. ft., wellness center.

Golf Assistant Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Golf Assistant to join our team at The Landings Club, Inc.

As a key member of our golf operations team, you will be responsible for assisting daily with administrative functions such as properly checking in players, collecting appropriate fees, announcing tee times, scheduling outside service staff on the course and handicap computer accessibility for score posting.

You will also provide golf instruction, actively involve yourself in retail management and sales, promote participation and assist in administering member golf tournaments, actively involved in the Leadership and Execution of Golf outside operations to include pace of play and golf cart operations, fill in as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Head Golf Professional, enforce Club rules and policies, enforce USGA Rules of Golf, assure that all work is performed within the club's safety standards, attend weekly safety meetings, comply with departmental grooming standards, work a variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and or holidays, comply with departmental and Club policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be willing to provide exceptional service to members and leadership to position the department to achieve the mission.
  • A member of or apprentice with the Professional Golfers Association of America with experience at a private club with a high volume of play, preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate solid playing skills.
  • Passing of PGA Players Ability Test preferred.
  • Knowledge of golf products and merchandise.
  • Knowledge of, and ability to interpret and apply the USGA Rules of Golf.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
  • Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and to deploy resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
