About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to children birth to age three with developmental delays or biological risk factors for developing delays and their families. As an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and interpret speech-language pathology assessments to determine eligibility for Early Intervention services
  • Develop and implement Individualized Family Support Plans (IFSPs) that address the unique needs of each child and family
  • Provide speech-language pathology services in natural environments, such as the home, daycare, and community settings
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and special education teachers, to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided, including progress reports and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university program
  • A current State of Hawaii license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competency from ASHA
  • At least one year of experience providing speech-language pathology services, preferably in early intervention
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
