Job Title: Clinician/Clinician Trainee

Join our team at Sierra Vista Child & Family Services as a Clinician/Clinician Trainee in our Behavioral Health Services and Intensive Community Support Team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide high-quality clinical services to children, youth, and transitional age youth with mental health disorders.

Job Summary:

As a Clinician/Clinician Trainee, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide individual, family, and group clinical services, as well as case management and crisis intervention. Your expertise will help us achieve our mission and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct clinical services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and individual, family, and group therapy.
  2. Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  3. Conduct home visits, school consultations, and community-based interventions as needed.
  4. Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, adhering to agency and regulatory standards.
  5. Participate in monthly peer review and attend training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
  6. Meet productivity expectations, including providing 4-12 client contacts monthly to a caseload of 25 clients.
  7. Effectively navigate and utilize our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  8. Participate in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and complete quarterly required screenings.
  9. Provide crisis intervention and be available after hours, nights, and/or weekends as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited graduate program with a major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in progress or LCSW, LMFT, LPCC licensure eligibility.
  • One year of experience in a treatment setting preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Active BBS registration, licenses, credentials, or like certifications.
  • Valid California driver's license with less than two minor moving violations.
