Motorcycle Instructor

Motorcycle Instructor - Join us as a Professional Rider Coach at Virginia Western Community College.

We are seeking an experienced motorcycle rider to join our team as a part-time Motorcycle Instructor. As a member of our School of Business, Technology and Trades, you will be responsible for teaching basic rider safety courses using the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum.

• Teach MSF-certified courses to licensing students on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Conduct riding skills assessments and provide feedback to students.
• Maintain currency in teaching discipline through ongoing training and professional development.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced motorcycle rider with a passion for teaching. To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma and at least five years of experience riding motorcycles.
• A valid Virginia operator's license with motorcycle endorsement.
• Rider Coach certification from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF).
• The ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.

Estimated salary: $21.57/hour.
