Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team for a 13-week assignment at a partnering hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery nursing and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
  • Document patient care and progress in the medical record.
Requirements:
  • Current Texas Registered Nurse License/Certification
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1-2 years of recent relevant experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
