Position Summary:

Performs clinical duties in physician practices under the direction of the practice manager and physicians.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and other point-of-care testing and treatments, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, and performing checkout duties.

Collaborates with the healthcare team to promote a positive patient experience.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous medical assistant experience in vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and immunizations
