Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing vaginal deliveries, and providing postpartum care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and take appropriate action in response to any changes or complications.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that all parties are informed and involved in the care process.
- Current RN licensure in the state of California.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN, preferably in a travel assignment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Gross weekly pay: $2,678.
