Commercial Kitchen Technician

Favored Mechanical Solutions is seeking a skilled Commercial Foodservice and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Inspect equipment and components to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff to ensure timely and satisfactory service.
- Complete service tickets according to company procedures and standards.
- Manage truck stock and maintain a well-stocked vehicle to ensure prompt repairs.
- Ensure service vehicles, tools, and uniforms meet Favored Mechanical Solutions' standards.
- Set a positive example for less experienced technicians and promote a culture of excellence.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of related experience in commercial foodservice and refrigeration equipment repair.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently.
- Standard computer skills and ability to track inventory and manage service tickets.
- Industry-standard hand tools and ability to travel extensively within the region.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, for on-call rotation.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new techniques and approaches.
- Universal EPA certification preferred.
