Job Summary
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the Flight Software Team at Millennium Space Systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the analysis, design, and testing of software products. This includes reviewing functional specifications, developing test strategies, crafting test cases, executing testing protocols, identifying software defects, and maintaining comprehensive test documentation. By scrutinizing test outcomes, you will ensure that all functionalities and integrations adhere to established standards, proposing corrective actions for any discrepancies.
This position, recognized internally as Software Engineer, is open for skilled professionals.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans and develop thorough test cases
- Script and execute tests for software components on actual hardware and simulated environments
- Diagnose software and testing issues while assessing functionality
- Utilize GitLab CI for automated test execution
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 2 years of experience in software testing
- Proficient in generating test documentation and automated testing
- Skilled in Python, C, and/or C++, along with Git and GitLab
- Familiarity with continuous integration practices
- Exhibit outstanding analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in developing both functional and non-functional test cases
- Competent in evaluating test results, generating reports, and analyzing metrics
Salary Information
The salary range provided below is approximate and may be adjusted based on candidate qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
- Level 2: $90,950 - $133,750
- Level 3: $112,200 - $165,000
