Role OverviewThe Senior HRIS and Business Analyst will be instrumental in delivering technical support and oversight for our HRIS platform (currently UKG Pro).
This role encompasses system configuration, data migration, reporting, troubleshooting, user assistance, and maintaining system integrity and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- HRIS Implementation and Maintenance: Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of HRIS data through regular audits and validation processes. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to HR technology, recommending enhancements or upgrades as necessary.
- Data Management and Reporting: Design and develop insightful reports and dashboards utilizing BI tools to analyze workforce trends, performance, and HR metrics. Generate ongoing and ad-hoc reports using automation tools, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Process Improvement and Automation: Enhance HR processes through automation and workflow optimization within the HRIS, minimizing manual tasks and boosting efficiency.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Uphold compliance with regulations, laws, and industry standards regarding data privacy, security, and HR practices. Conduct periodic audits to identify compliance risks and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Training and Support: Act as the subject matter expert for HRIS-related inquiries, providing troubleshooting assistance and resolving system issues. Deliver training and support to the HR team and other end-users, while creating and maintaining user documentation and knowledge articles.
- Project Management: Oversee HRIS and BI projects from inception to completion, including planning, resource allocation, risk assessments, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work collaboratively across the organization to align HRIS and BI initiatives with departmental and organizational objectives. Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external vendors to support system performance and integrations.
- Strong understanding of database management principles, queries, data modeling, and visualization tools.
- Advanced knowledge of HR systems, particularly UKG.
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent relationship-building and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Intermediate knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, IT, or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in an HRIS role is preferred, particularly within financial institutions or credit unions.
Working EnvironmentThis position operates in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment, utilizing standard office equipment. The role may require manual dexterity and the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
