Generator Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Generator Service Technician to join our team at Power Plus. As a key member of our Generator Service & Maintenance Division, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing generators ranging from 5 kw to 4000kw.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain generator systems
- Interact with customers to provide exceptional service
- Correctly fill out paperwork and documentation
- Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Requirements:
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators
- Technical schooling in automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric, or military experience a plus
- Willingness to learn and use new technologies
- Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call pager rotations with occasional out-of-town travel/overnight stays
- Able to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Certified Journeyman Electrician a plus but not required

Total Estimated Compensation: $93,320 - $116,200
