This 30-bed critical access hospital in southwestern New Mexico is seeking a full-time permanent Medical Laboratory Scientist with blood bank experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory specimen testing, analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare specimens, calibrate and maintain instruments, and assist in all areas of the lab as needed.
• Report test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently.
• Assist in other areas of the lab and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Provide patient care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers.
• Assist with ordering supplies.
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree
• Medical Technologist, Registered by ASCP or AMT
• Experience with computer software installation and testing of new applications
• Blood bank experience
