We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
Certification Requirements- ACLS and BCLS certifications are mandatory.
- Applicants with a pending DC license are welcome, but a valid license is required before commencing work.
- Position: CVOR RN - 12D/E, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a relevant field is required.
- Weekend shifts: 2 weekend shifts are expected per 13-week contract.
- On-call duties: 6 calls are anticipated per 6-week schedule, including 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday.
- Floating: Flexibility to float to general surgery if no heart cases are available.
- Parking: Convenient on-campus parking is available.
- Experience in circulating and scrubbing.
- Level I trauma experience is required.
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels.
- Day and evening shift hours will be discussed during the interview process.
