Job Overview

McMillan Electric Company is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team in Woodville, WI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electronically controlled motors, building, testing, and verifying new motors and controls, and conducting application testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process new motor requests from concept to customer submittal.
  • Perform measurement and analytical testing with a wide range of laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare and present technical test reports.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in an electronics related discipline or a minimum of 3 years work-related experience in an electronics field.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills, scientific principles, and creativity to troubleshoot and resolve problems to an electronic component level.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of electric motors, electronic circuits, microprocessor chips, and their programming.
  • Experience with Labview and PLCs.
  • Possesses strong soldering skills and understanding of IPC standards.
