This role is designed for a scheduling analyst within critical initiatives, specifically supporting the Sustainable Flight Demonstrator program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing, developing, coordinating, integrating, analyzing, and maintaining comprehensive plans and schedules for proposals, projects, programs, and major initiatives to achieve project objectives.
  • Tracking, planning, scheduling, and conducting risk assessments throughout the lifecycle of various programs.
  • Facilitating the integration of program plans and schedules across functional areas, product groups, suppliers, and partners.
  • Collaborating with finance, subcontracts, material controls, and contracts teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal Support

Work closely with program managers and technical leads to:

  • Align detailed basis of estimates (BOEs) with the lowest level tasks in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Contracts to gather supplier quotes and subcontract proposals for incorporation into the IMS.
  • Create a fully integrated IMS using tools such as MS Project, Deltek Open Plan, and Milestones Professional.
  • Load resources onto tasks and manage custom fields within the IMS.
  • Ensure compliance of the IMS with industry standards, including EVMS DFAR and DCMA 14-point.
  • Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) as necessary.
Project Planning

Collaborate with technical leads to:

  • Establish the baseline IMS with the program team.
  • Provide input for project cost assessments to the finance team.
  • Perform Critical Path analysis.
  • Assist program managers with regular planning cycles.
Progress and Performance Tracking

Facilitate project status updates, leveraging earned value principles, and:

  • Meet regularly with technical leads and project managers to review deadlines and activities.
  • Ensure that Estimate to Complete (ETC) budgets, forecasts, and durations are accurately reflected in the project schedule.
  • Analyze schedule performance and address variances.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity analysis related to the schedule and propose solutions to management.
  • Perform what-if analysis to evaluate schedule impacts and support recovery planning.

Role Scope

This position is full-time and offers flexibility in start and end times based on time zones. Remote work is acceptable, with a preference for candidates located within a reasonable distance from key operational sites.

Software Proficiency Required: Deltek Open Plan, MS Project, Deltek Cobra.

Preferred Certifications: NA-PMP or PMI-SP.

Additional Skills: Candidates should possess scheduling experience on Earned Value Management Programs and exhibit strong collaboration and presentation skills.
