Leidos is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to become a vital part of our team. As a member of the Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) division, you will collaborate with a talented group focused on developing industry-leading screening technologies.

This role involves working in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to producing a wide range of fully automated and integrated systems for aviation, shipping ports, border security, and critical infrastructure clients. These advanced systems are designed to enhance threat detection capabilities by screening baggage, cargo, and individuals at various checkpoints globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble various components including cables, harnesses, panels, and other sub-assemblies.
  • Interpret and follow work instructions, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Install components and devices according to assembly guidelines.
  • Perform soldering on wires, PCBA's, and other electronic components.
  • Measure, cut, strip, and route wires on panels and enclosures.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Employ measuring instruments such as multi-meters and calipers to ensure product conformity.
  • Provide constructive feedback on assembly processes and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain accurate build records and documentation.
  • Conduct quality checks on your work and assist in peer reviews.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace by applying 5S methodologies.
  • Adhere to manufacturing protocols and company compliance policies.
  • Engage in cross-training opportunities to enhance skill sets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing or research and development.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Awareness of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.
  • Basic computer skills for daily tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
