Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the implementation of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) enterprise-grade data solutions.
  • Set development standards and practices for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
  • Act as the technical development leader for data engineering across Integrated Supply Chain, working closely with the Enterprise Data & Analytics organization.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize and tune data processing workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across data platforms.
  • Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate across the IT organization to ensure technical alignment on data engineering needs.
  • Assist in the design and development of infrastructure systems, including data warehouses and data lakes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant with 5 years of experience or in lieu of an advanced degree, 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S.-based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala. Experience with Java or C# is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or equivalent, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Redshift, or equivalent, SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Data warehousing and ETL processes, Data modeling and schema design, Data governance and security, Real-time data processing and streaming, Performance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience with Databricks Technologies: Unity Catalog, Workflows, Delta Live Tables, Asset Bundles. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines - Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI integration.
