Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty lines equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Work with a team of experienced technicians to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic, with a focus on diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL license may be required in some locations).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) may be required based on location needs.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. The ability to work indoors and outdoors is also required.
