About the Role:

As a Bartender at SAVOR @ The Alamodome, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring a seamless service for our guests. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and service individual beverage locations to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our guests
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Enforce all liquor laws and regulations to ensure a safe and responsible environment for our guests
  • Verify and account for all liquor inventory to maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff
  • Provide pleasant and efficient service to customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Report to F&B Personnel in appropriate uniform, for assigned location
  • Prepare all beverage items for sale in the station
  • Sell to customers, charging amount indicated on ASM GLOBAL price list
  • Receive and handle cash and/or tickets
  • Accurately verify all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor
  • Verify cash register is programmed properly, according to ASM GLOBAL approved sales prices
  • Follow all rules and regulations which apply to the beverage operations and to ASM GLOBAL Food and Beverage Division
  • Request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Food Service Manager
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be TABC certified
  • Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
  • High School education is desired
  • Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
  • Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
  • Must have basic working knowledge of bar operation
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to take directions and effectively perform the work
  • Ability to speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long durations at a time
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs
  • Positive, customer service oriented attitude at all times
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
  • Maintain proper grooming and dress code standards
  • Work ethic encourages strong quality in a team environment
  • Ability to work with other staff members in the facility
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail
