We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Harder Mechanical Contractors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Scheduling: Coordinate with field labor to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Quality Control: Monitor and ensure compliance with construction plans and specifications.
- Communication: Collaborate with design engineers, owner representatives, and fellow team members to resolve engineering issues and constraints.
- Team Management: Mentor new engineers in their roles, taking responsibility for their training and development.
- Reporting: Track construction progress and update status weekly.
- Documentation: Organize project records in an effective document control system.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience or education.
- Experience: 3-10 years of construction management experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam – intermediate skills in Excel; knowledge of mechanical systems, and experience reading mechanical and plumbing drawings.
- Personal Qualities: Self-starter, motivated, and takes initiative; organized and productive; strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis; relentless commitment to teamwork and client satisfaction.
