Caregiver Specialist

MAB Community Services is a leading organization dedicated to providing essential care and support to individuals with diverse needs. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Direct Care Professional to join our team.

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with compassion and empathy, ensuring their overall well-being and promoting independence.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while respecting individual preferences and dignity.
• Implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
• Plan and facilitate engaging activities to promote socialization, personal growth, and skill development, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.

• High school diploma or HiSet; previous experience in a direct care role preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others, creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, adapting to changing needs and schedules.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive work environment. The schedule includes Fridays from 4pm to 11pm and Saturdays from 1pm to 11pm.
