Chemistry Instructor

UNM Los Alamos is seeking qualified temporary part-time faculty members to teach lower division classes in Chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching online and/or face-to-face courses at the 1000 or 2000 level.
Responsibilities- Teach Chemistry courses at the 1000 or 2000 level
- Develop and implement course materials and assessments
- Grade student assignments and exams
- Meet with students during assigned office hours
- Participate in departmental meetings and activities
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or a related field for non-Chemistry majors
- Successful teaching experience in a post-secondary institution
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success
- Terminal degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Online teaching experience
- New Mexico residence
