Job Summary:

KBR is seeking an Electronics Assembler to support our government customer in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare electrical and electronic equipment for assembly and integration into systems, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Work from detailed drawings, wire and cable lists to perform inter-system equipment connections, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform routine chassis wiring using wire lists and schematics, utilizing hand and power tools as required.
  • Install cable assemblies using standard techniques, including cable service loops and proper cable routing, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify the correctness of terminations using cable testers and other audible testing instruments, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with higher-level assemblers and engineering personnel to achieve project goals, leveraging expertise and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Two years of direct experience as an electronic assembler, with a strong understanding of electronics and assembly principles.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, ensuring access to sensitive information.
  • Proven ability to assemble parts per drawing packages or through direction from higher-level technicians or engineers, demonstrating adaptability and attention to detail.
  • Soldering and crimping experience, with proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly operations.
  • Ability to fabricate cables and install them using standard techniques, showcasing technical expertise.

Compensation and Benefits:

KBR offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $70,000, based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, as well as internal parity.

The company may also offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, in accordance with internal policy or contractual designation.
