Vantage Consulting is seeking a skilled Protection and Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing HVDC System Control and Protection systems.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement HVDC System Control and Protection designs
  • Conduct factory system tests and on-site commissioning of HVDC Control and Protection systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide technical support to commissioning engineers
  • Prepare inspection test plans and reports

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • 2-5 years of experience in commissioning power system transmission and distribution projects
  • Strong knowledge of AC control and protection schemes, electric power systems, and automatic control theory
  • Experience with RTU and SEL systems
  • Basic knowledge of international electrical standards (IEEE/IEC)
  • Good software development skills
  • Prior experience with HVDC systems is a plus
