Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Campus Living Villages. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our privatized student housing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing daily tasks to maintain the curb appeal of the facility, including exterior community grounds maintenance and trash removal.
  • Conduct housekeeping duties in all areas, including dusting, vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning and replacing lights as needed, and mopping.
  • Perform specific tasks as directed by management, such as waxing or buffing tile floors, spot cleaning furniture and carpets, etc.
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully with co-workers and residents of the facility, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and report any items requiring repair or suspicious activity to management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years previous experience as a maid/porter in multi-family or privatized student housing, preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
