About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at SouthernCarlson Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering construction supplies to our customers in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure road safety and merchandise integrity.
  • Operate a flat bed truck or van to deliver tools and construction supplies to customers.
  • Plan and adjust routes to ensure efficient delivery and minimize traffic congestion.
  • Assist with warehouse activities, including pulling orders and supporting the warehouse team.
  • Safely transport merchandise to customers, ensuring timely and courteous delivery.
  • Load and unload merchandise from the truck, maintaining accurate records and communicating with management and customers as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or industrial supply industry.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required.
