Job Title: Primary Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team at Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC. As a Primary Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients struggling with eating disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstances based on their intersecting identities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning to ensure clients receive ongoing support.
  • Model a healthy relationship with food and provide therapeutic meal support.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or a related discipline.
  • New York state license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
