As a Registered Professional Nurse in our Pre-Surgery Assessment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless transition of patients from admission to surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Provide Professional Nursing Care: Independently assess patients' needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with Physicians and Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication, and to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Manage Patient Flow and Prioritize Tasks: Effectively manage patient flow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to ensure efficient and safe care delivery.
  • Maintain Accurate Records and Documentation: Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certifications: Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific.
  • Additional Requirements: Please refer to the specific clinical unit for additional education, competencies, and/or certification required as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: BSN degree preferred.
  • Certifications: National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
