We are currently seeking an Autism Support Staff member to join our team at Koinonia Homes. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder while enjoying a rewarding and challenging career path.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work directly in a therapeutic setting, developing and implementing individualized programs based on each person's needs and goals. As part of our care team, you will be responsible for engaging in constant interaction and supervision of the individuals, promoting a safe and supportive environment that fosters growth and development.

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, and most importantly, the individuals we support. Your patience, understanding, and compassion will be essential in creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

A valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as well as the ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications. While previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities is preferred, it is not mandatory.
