Main Responsibilities
  • To practice autonomously without direct supervision across the four pillars of advanced practice, including clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research.
  • To utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • To recognize the need for and initiate relevant diagnostic investigations, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform decision-making.
  • To exhibit excellent nonverbal and verbal communication skills when dealing with patients and carers, making clear decisions with confidence and communicating them effectively.

Job Details

Location: Kettering General Hospital, Northampton General, Isebrook Hospital

We offer a range of substantive weekend hours and bank positions, with competitive salary packages:

  • £59,226 - £69,006 per annum (Band 8.b0), including 30% evening enhancements and 45% weekend enhancements.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A registered Adult Nurse or Paramedic qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 modules at Level 7, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury.
  • Capability to conduct a concise clinical history and physical examination.
  • The ability to formulate a differential diagnosis management plan.
  • Effective communication abilities in clinical settings.
