Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician Senior at Corewell Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various types of general building features. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a high-quality, cost-effective service with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with supervisors, customers, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services.
  • Perform expert-level maintenance, including equipment installation and repair, and prepare sites for construction. Utilize hand and power tools to measure, cut, and install building materials.
  • Assist in maintaining complete lawn care during the growing season and snow and ice removal from walks and driveways.
  • Document procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure proper care, maintenance, and safe use of equipment and supplies, and maintain work areas orderly, clean, and safe.
  • Ensure all services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate work flow with other trades and act as a resource related to building systems.
  • Complete all required internal trainings for the Maintenance Tech Program and Plant Operations.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, 2 of which in a healthcare setting.
  • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan.
