**Salary $33-34/hr with full benefits**

**SUMMARY:**

Ensure that mental health treatment services are delivered in a manner that promotes client autonomy and family empowerment. Provide individual, group, and couples counseling services to support individuals in achieving enhanced personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.

**EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS**
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • Must be registered as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, or Associate Clinical Social Worker.
  • Proof of a valid California driver's license and auto insurance, along with proof of education, is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with mental health patients (both inpatient and outpatient).
  • Direct clinical experience and case management knowledge regarding rehabilitation philosophy are essential.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills are required.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
  • Provide crisis intervention consultation and other activities directly related to the intervention process.
  • Deliver individual, group, family, and couples therapy.
  • Offer occupational, educational, and other information to help individuals formulate realistic educational and vocational plans.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Contribute to program development and staff training sessions.
  • Participate in staff meetings as necessary.
  • Perform administrative tasks aligned with the program's needs.
  • Conduct counseling or therapeutic interviews to assist individuals in gaining insight into personal challenges, defining goals, and planning actions that reflect their interests, abilities, and needs.
  • Document in medical records according to company and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify causes of individual problems and determine the advisability of counseling or referrals to other specialists or institutions.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries with all staff and clients.
  • Follow up on counseling outcomes to assess the reliability and validity of the treatment used.
  • May provide consultation/education to community service clubs, organizations, school districts, human service agencies, hospitals, and various county departments.
  • May facilitate linkages to intensive interventions aimed at developing skills to mediate the effects of mental crises, trauma, or depression.
  • May teach various educational classes (parenting, domestic violence, anger management, etc.) and provide on-site therapy in schools.
  • Monthly productivity requirement is 100 hours or as determined by the supervisor/program.
  • May be required to spend up to 80% of time counseling individuals in adult, group, and family therapy; students or working with parents/caretakers on and/or off-site.
  • Transport clients to foster community relationships. Use of personal vehicle is required.
  • Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the client, program, and the company.
