Teaching Chemistry Courses

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to teach chemistry courses to students at Massasoit Community College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction to our students.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and deliver course content that aligns with departmental outcomes and meets contractual requirements.
  • Schedule classes and prepare course syllabi according to established guidelines.
  • Use effective instructional strategies to promote student learning and employ appropriate assessment tools.
  • Communicate with students and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Submit grades and other administrative documents by established deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree or higher in chemistry or a related field, or a Master's degree or higher with an appropriate level of experience and training. Preferred qualifications include experience with and understanding of the community college environment, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and knowledge of and experience using effective pedagogical strategies.
