Job Title: Work Control Manager

Bates College is seeking a highly skilled Work Control Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our work control center, ensuring that work orders are created and routed according to departmental guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of work control specialists to ensure efficient and effective work order processing.
  • Develop and implement business process improvements to enhance the work control process.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to ensure seamless integration of work control systems with other departmental systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of work control processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in work control, operations management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
