Norman Regional Health System seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Rheumatology Clinic team. As a LPN, you will perform nursing duties as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act, contributing to patient care plans and administering medications safely.

Job Summary

This role involves maintaining the clinical environment, documenting nursing activities, and assisting in training other staff members. Candidates should possess a current LPN license and prior experience in a clinical setting, along with BLS certification.

Responsibilities
  • Contributes to the development of a plan of care for selected patients.
  • Administers medication with high accuracy and safety.
  • Maintains exam rooms and work environment.
  • Documents nursing care and activities.
  • Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
  • Assists with the training of other staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
