Job Summary:

As a Certified Surgical Technician at St. Vincent's Medical Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Your expertise will be essential in preparing the operating suite, handling instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating suite with sterile drapes, solutions, and instruments.
  • Assist surgeons with instrument handling and supply management.
  • Participate in patient preparation, transportation, and positioning.
  • Maintain instrument counts and monitor the decontamination process.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient procedure.
Requirements:
  • Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
  • Experience in a surgical setting preferred.
