Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse (PH) to join our team at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. As a key member of our Emergency Services department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities- Identify and differentiate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms, selecting and performing therapeutic measures essential for effective execution of the nursing regimen.
- Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients, ensuring continuity of care.
- Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes to ensure seamless communication among healthcare team members.
- Interpret and report patient responses to the healthcare team, participating in the development of comprehensive patient care programs.
- Assign and delegate nursing tasks to allied personnel, providing guidance and direction as needed.
- Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences to discuss policies and procedures affecting nursing practice.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a system for evaluating nursing care, practices, and procedures.
- Interpret the philosophy and objectives of the agency and Nursing Department to patients, families, and other groups.
- Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education and other learning experiences.
- A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- A valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
