Job SummaryOur Medical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for testing patient specimens, ensuring the accuracy of test results, and communicating with healthcare providers. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare specimens for testing and ensure that they are properly labeled and stored.
- Test patient specimens and maintain accurate records of test results.
- Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure that test results are accurately interpreted and communicated.
- Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure that laboratory equipment is functioning properly.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure that testing is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Clinical Laboratory Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
