Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
  • Replace defective components as instructed
  • Perform facility maintenance duties
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
